Battery died almost immediately

I am involved in a lawsuit for nuisance to residents and needed a decibel meter to demonstrate the constant noise levels I was being exposed to. I have a lawyer waiting for this information. BUT. The screen is very difficult to read and the numbers are only visible for a few seconds. I'd say it's a piece of junk and my apps run much better. The muffler or whatever is on top keeps falling off and as I said saves your money. Thanks for the recommendation Amazon. NO.
