Great for action cameras

Bought as an alternative to the app my action camera needs. This device works great! Use on iPad/iPhone to transfer videos from action cam SD card to iPad for editing. It also transfers photos from iDevice to flash drive via USB port. Be careful when downloading the app that most flash drives require to transfer images from an iPhone or action cam. NO apps are required and transferring data to and from external USB/SD cards is seamless. Please note that SD cards are not inserted as far as they will go in laptops, but only halfway. The USB, mini SD and SD slots also worked. The Lightning slot is not available. For the price and to avoid downloading poorly rated image apps, this connector is excellent so far.
