Also, the old gas valve actually felt warm around the plastic case. Lots of issues with this valve failing or not working properly. Also replaced the ignition assembly for about $30 as both components make the burner and pilot work. The valve is factory set to the correct range and marked on the side of the valve. You will need gas sealant and a pair of pipe wrenches. The connection nipple of the rubber vacuum hose from the old valve must be reused. Pretty simple build.
