Reading the reviews it seemed like 1 in 2 lightbulbs had failed for many people . . I was no exception. The bulbs took a long time to get to me, which I was fine with. But when they arrived I unpacked them and couldn't wait to use them. I installed 1 bulb, turned on the light and it seemed very dim. I thought maybe your eyes just need to get used to the red. As I left the room, I heard a noise, turned around and saw that the light had gone out. Tried a lightbulb in another light, dead as a doornail. I threw out the lightbulb and tried a second one. It works and shines much brighter than the first light bulb. But now I wrestle with the feeling that these lightbulbs were made by child labor in some third world country and I can trust them not to light a fire. I'll wait to decide, but I think the second bulb will end up in the trash with the first.
