Review on French Connection 👚 V Neck Henley Sleeve Top by Carl Mayes

This is my second shirt from this company. My first was the short sleeve version. This shirt has a more tailored or contoured fit, which is great if you're perfectly slim. I checked their sizes on their website and ordered accordingly. I usually wear a plus size shirt, but due to the contoured fit of this shirt I went for the XL size. I'm glad I did this as I find the fit is more like a regular fit and much better for me. The large size will be too tight, especially after washing and drying. This time I wasn't overly impressed with the weight and feel of the fabric. The fabric is soft and maybe a little thin to be sticky. I don't like how much breast detail is shown including nipples and even where the chest hair is! At one point my chest hair was even sticking out through the fabric. I ordered pewter, but maybe a darker color isn't as revealing. That worries me a lot. I mean are these shirts designed and made for men or what? Last time I checked, I wasn't the only guy with chest hair. So I expect clothes that fit my body. Overall I'm happy with the shirt but I think this company is a little pricey for the quality. I would also recommend checking the size chart on their website. Order if you don't need a contoured fit and prefer a more regular fit. If you're a hairy type I guess get ready to wear another shirt underneath. Not bad for that.
