Stops scratching but gets used to it quickly

This product works as advertised my cats no longer scratch the furniture I spray it on. It didn't stain any of the fabrics I've used it on. It leaves a pleasant aroma. However, the amount of spray needed to cover the furniture quickly empties the bottle. I have found that I need to spray furniture about twice a week to keep it effective. It's only been a few weeks and my bottle is almost empty! I thought it was worth it overall as this spray is a lot cheaper than reupholstering furniture.
