Red cable stopped working

The charger worked great when I first got it but for some reason after about a week it suddenly stopped charging and barely charged. Out of curiosity, I used an old cheap cable instead of the red one that came with it, and it started warp charging again. All along I thought the cable was really important, but obviously I was wrong. Oh I'm just glad it's working again! I hope this review helps someone who has the same problem!
