It makes your selfies and small group photos in dark places 10 times better. It doesn't look as bright in daylight, but it works great in a club or a dimly lit restaurant. No special apps or connections are required, it just snaps in place and turns on with a button. The hardest part is remembering to take it out of your pocket and put it on. This is the second one I bought because my girlfriend liked it so much at her birthday party I told her to keep it.
