A few flaws are best in cutlery and knife accessories

I bought them to cut up raw chicken. Meat, tendons, all bones. The scissors make a solid and durable impression. But they don't do the job well, which I have to do. First the pens. As soon as your hands get wet or greasy, your hands will slide over the handles as there is no holding back. One commenter said that you have to wrap the handle in tape or something like that to create a stop. Yes you can do this, the tape will become unsanitary. And I don't think there's any point in buying tools that need customization to do the job you want to do. Second, while the roughly 2-inch leading edge cuts through meat and tendons excellently, they're only capable of cutting through the smallest of bones. Also, the notch in the blade designed to cut through bone is difficult to make on large bones. It also lacks the mechanical advantage to easily slice through medium to large sized bones. Also note that I am talking about chicken bones which are generally much easier to cut than beef bones etc. Finally, the back of the handles are steel and have a snap mechanism to keep the blades closed for storage. I found myself biting my stomach with the back of a pair of scissors while working at the kitchen table. Ouch. Now that seems strange to me. But I've done it several times. I'm not inclined to change my position to accommodate the scissors. especially not when there are other scissors without this "function". So overall I gave it 3 stars. good but not great and with some flaws.
