Too big, cumbersome to use and not sharp.

They are very heavy but dangerous as they are very heavy and difficult to handle and there is no finger hole either. So if you lose your grip they just fall out of your hands and they are too big even for me and I have very big hands. They're also not very sharp, great for piercing bones, but won't cut through chicken skin.

You'll probably never see these in the kitchen...

Bought these scissors to cut leather, plastic, rubber, canvas and the like. I picked these for their full stock grips hoping for durability and I have yet to be disappointed. I really don't expect any trouble with anything other than metals and I don't intend to use them on metal, nor do I recommend them for that purpose. Laissez-Scher (when in doubt, pun...).

Robust but poor execution

Above-average quality of materials and workmanship. The buttons are spring-loaded and too spaced apart for small hands, no pun intended (note the rubber band that holds the buttons together). Also note that while the handle design looks sleek, it is not at all functional or practical as it is slippery and therefore offers very little leverage. I bought them for my wife but I think they will come in handy in my garage. Please!

Not what I was hoping for

I received these scissors to replace the lost scissors I bought with the Henckel knife block. I read the reviews and everyone liked it. It did not work for me. A couple of big issues. One is a pen. Without loops to insert fingers, they do not have a good grip when wet (e.g. when slaughtering a chicken). Also, they didn't cut through the bird's skin. Instead, he just chewed a little. I went through one side of the back and handed the scissors to my fiancรฉ. "Please throw this in the trash." Iโ€ฆ

Very powerful scissors but they are very difficult to use.

Pros: These scissors have a solid construction. The cutting blades are quite thick (compared to cheaper scissors) and really help when brute force is slicing through chicken/turkey bones. The handles don't flex as both have a full shank coming out of their respective blades. The Bad: While I appreciate the spring-loaded hinge, they push the buttons too far apart. These scissors often have to be held with two hands. At the same time, the handles are a fatal disadvantage of these scissors. All is

Just bought a second pair

I love them so much just bought a second pair to keep in our camper van. One of my biggest kitchen discoveries of 2018 was the overhead faucet. It's a weird word, but it's an amazing thing. Imagine a rack of birds in El Pollo Loco lying on their stomachs with their legs apart. This method cooks the bird faster and better than any other method I've seen. To wet the bird, turn it over, place it on your chest, hold the small tip of the tail, and use scissors to cut off both sides of the backboneโ€ฆ

A few flaws are best in cutlery and knife accessories

I bought them to cut up raw chicken. Meat, tendons, all bones. The scissors make a solid and durable impression. But they don't do the job well, which I have to do. First the pens. As soon as your hands get wet or greasy, your hands will slide over the handles as there is no holding back. One commenter said that you have to wrap the handle in tape or something like that to create a stop. Yes you can do this, the tape will become unsanitary. And I don't think there's any point in buying toolsโ€ฆ
