Works very well with ECOBEE4

The Ecobee4 with this power supply is a great replacement for the traditional battery thermostats that come with the home. I've been dealing with an unbalanced temperature distribution on the second floor of our home for a while because the original thermostat sensor wasn't reading the exact temperature in the master bedroom making it too cold at 73F in the hallway the 2nd floor was too cold. at 80F (thermostat set at 80F). Ecobee4 solved this problem for me. Savior. This device distributes the temperature intelligently, preventing the premises from underheating or overheating. I can even instruct Alexa's bedside table to set my preferred temperature on the fly, without getting up and going to the wall unit. C-cable problems? you don't have them No problem. If you have easy access to your HVAC system, you can use the PEK module already included. However, mine was in a very damp, dusty and compacted attic, so (note the picture) I improvised with a power supply. Fair warning, however, if you don't know what you're doing, consult someone who does, as Ecobee doesn't give instructions on how to get around without a C-wire AND you don't have (easy) access to HVAC and use it an AC adapter. I actually prefer the power pack method. This power supply is not provided by ecobee4, but you can also purchase it here at Revain. For quick tips, the power supply has two wired nodes. My thermostat system has 4 wires (R, W, Y and G). On the ecobee board, plug one end of the adapter cable into the "C" socket and assign the other end to the "Rc" socket. The R cable then connects to the "Rh" slot and the rest to the appropriate slots: Y to Y1, W to W1, G to G. As said, it really depends on your system's cable configuration though. , and if you really can't understand it, take the advice of someone who professionally understands it. I will not ask you to take my word for it as I am not an HVAC specialist.
