When I first got my truck I decided I needed backup lights on a switch so I could either use them to find my way out of tight gaps or use them as work lights when I hitched her to a trailer at night. I have benefited so much from these lights and they have worked extremely well. I was able to mount them using my existing bumper bolts so I didn't have to drill holes. I plugged the light into a switch that I led to the cab of my truck. The headlights blend in well with the lines of the truck. They are very bright and I have used them as work lights, camping lights and even to collect and transport firewood for our trip. I have no problems with these lamps. Following some advice from others, I smeared the wire base and lens with silicone. I've run them through an automatic car wash a few times over the past few months and haven't had any problems so far! I'm so impressed I ordered a 20" NiLight for the grill. You won't be disappointed.
