I have a 1996 Sea Ray with an electric flush system that I bought about 11 years ago. The pump worked perfectly for the first few years, but then I had intermittent problems. .When pressing the flush button sometimes the fuse popped out. The boat dock replaced the button/switch which they said was a problem. Everything worked fine for a few years, then the fuse blew again. I decided to just replace the pump. As I was taking everything apart, I temporarily hooked up the old pump and saw that the chopper wheel just got stuck in the block when I hit the flush switch. I replaced it with a new pump and voila! It turned well, that was the problem all along! The dimensions of this pump are exactly the same as the original equipment, so the replacement was not a problem. Now it works every time I press the flush button, my wife is happy about it!
