I have two Martin-Logan Preface floorstanding front speakers and needed a compatible center channel speaker. Since the Preface speakers are a bit older (2008), finding a compatible center channel was harder than one might think. I've tried different speakers from Polk, Definitive, KLH, M&K and even a Martin-Logan Encore TF speaker but wasn't happy with the results. In most cases, the sound was muddy or didn't match the stage design. The Martin-Logan Motion 8i speaker turned out to be a great option. The center channel is responsive and maintains the stage presence I demand. I can only recommend this center speaker.
