The console is extremely good, and when I first purchased it, I was happy beyond belief—perhaps even more than an elephant, although I can't say for sure:) Of course, you may now get a PlayStation 3, but the games that are available on the PlayStation 2 are not available on the PlayStation 3. Playing Primal, BLADE 2, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (well, it is on the computer), and a lot more, but writing about them all would take too much time. Got pros: Plenty of games, and a solid build quality for the console itself (I have the Slim model). It is impossible to compare the good visual quality of games played on PS3 at the time to other platforms, but even so. There are a lot of more benefits, but I can't think of them all right now. By the way, the system is hacked, but I have licenses for the vast majority of the games. Further drawbacks: I was unable to locate them. It's odd, but in the eight years I've been using it, I haven't come into any problems.
