I received a Samsung S5e tablet from Costco during the Thanksgiving sale. The S5e is so thin and so slippery. I really need a case to protect it from scratches and protect the screen. I don't want a thick and heavy case that looks like a tank. After some research on the internet I finally decided on this case. This case is perfect for S5e. It doesn't add too much thickness. The case is also very light. I won't say the cover can protect the 4 corner edges when I drop the S4e from 5 feet. However, I think it should provide adequate protection against a low level impact (e.g. a 2ft drop where the corner edge hits the ground first). Sorry I won't be throwing my S5e as a test to back up my claim here. The back of the lid is a bit rough which actually helps keep the whole table from getting slippery when I hold it. Overall I am happy with this lid as it suits my needs.
