Nearly perfect! But the clip for the tablet is terrible.

It looks Overall this is the best desktop tablet stand The arm is very well designed, the base is heavy and stable, and has excellent non-slip feet.Even the ball joint on the top has enough friction to hold a fairly heavy tablet in place and The only problem is the clip that holds the tablet in place, if you compare it to the tablet stand "Retail Kiosk" from the same manufacturer AddTek, which is probably featured on this page, you can see that the clip has many gripping points to be able to pull it out against the force of the spring And if you compare a few other brands that start with L Ones I see on this site too, you see clips that have metal bars for the sliding part so you can grab the ends of the clips on the inside and another that has real red loops on the outside for a tight hold Offer. It can only be held in place with a small, smooth plastic sponge. I'm very strong, I can increase my grip strength to 200lbs, but the awkward design of this clamp makes it a real pain to use. I can pop it on and off my 11-inch iPad Pro by placing the stand on the table in front of me so I have free access with both hands, but I try, say, to reach down and let go of the iPad . with one hand. Well, it's basically impossible with this design. I have another tablet holder which is a clip on a standard music rest and the spring is just as firm but much easier to work with because I can slide my finger into the mechanism and pull slightly when it does is open. If you're planning on using this with a phone or a small tablet like an iPad mini, I don't think you'll have a problem. If you plan to use it with a full-size tablet like the iPad Pro 11" and you put the tablet on the stand and then never take it out, then this will work really, really well for you because the tablet will definitely never fall out accidentally! But if you plan to use it with a full-size tablet occasionally, especially one in a protective case, you're going to find it very inconvenient and difficult, and I don't recommend it for that type of use case. That is really very disappointing because in literally everything else this stance is perfect, it's head and shoulders ahead of all its competitors and it's particularly disappointing that the clip is so poorly designed as the same manufacturer sells other tablet holders that charge a lot look better I hope the manufacturer reads this (and dozens of other reviews complaining about the clip being awkward to use !) and makes a simple redesign.

Pros
  • Highly versatile mobile docking station with included 1/4" DSLR adapter to convert to a tripod or projector stand. Adjusting the firmness of the mount base with the included Allen key ensures excellent stability and a secure grip without hesitation
Cons
  • Something else
