Works even without barking
This collar works very well for one of my Beagles - she is younger and doesn't need electrocution and responds to level 1 vibrations. However, my other Beagle is a bit older and stubborn and doesn't care the strength of shock or vibration, he just keeps barking. That being said, this collar works for both dogs when another dog is barking next to them, or even when they do something like a sneeze.
