As usual, K&N keeps what they promise. Out of the box, the Blackhawk looks amazingly black. The huge filter pulls in more than enough air to feed this 450 horsepower beast of a car. The sound of the engine is greatly improved, as is the airflow. I also followed the installation of AIT before and after installation. The standard case provides enough air to keep the K&N filled with air at ambient temperature. Before buying, I read a lot of reviews on different products. But one factor influenced my decision. K&N always performed as advertised and their kits always matched. The worst thing I've ever dealt with on a K&N was cutting the rubber around the heat shield.
