It’s so easy to use. I just toss my hair into a bun and place this band around it. It actually helps hold everything in place. I have a lot of hair but it’s very fine so when I put it in a bun, the hair bands tend to slip. This messy bun holds everything in place. My only issue is in matching my exact hair color. I’ve settled on the dark brown although it doesn’t completely match. My hair is a dark brown at the scalp and lightens to a medium/light brown towards the ends. The medium brown band was too reddish in color and when I use the dark brown if I don’t hide my natural bun within the messy hair band then it’s obvious. I’ve learned how to hide it and the messy hair bun matches the rest of my hair so that works. Too bad I can’t find a messy bun that has a few gray hairs and some lighter tones mixed in. I’m happy though!
