Review on AOC CQ27G3S Frameless 2560X1440 FreeSync 165Hz Gaming G3 Series Monitor with Adjustable Height and Adaptive Sync Technology by Michael Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The colors are very effective: my rating

I previously had an MSI g24c (gj monitor, I no longer buy MSI parts at all). The colors weren't great, the only thing that impressed me was the curve. The monitor let me down after a month of gaming, took it to a LAN party. After the readjustment, there were streaks of dead pixels all over the screen. I figured this monitor needed to warm up or stay plugged in for about 2 hours for the screen to fully display again. I left it for the next 2 years and forgot about the problem. It just happened again and I kicked out that post and ordered that. The price was about the same, but I was immediately blown away by this monitor. Bigger, faster refresh rate, still curved. But then the colors hit me. I actually ordered the 3070 TI straight away to expand its capabilities over the 3GB GTX 1060 I've been using for a few days. The heavy-duty stand can be assembled and disassembled quickly without tools (built-in screws with handles, really cool idea). Show me the most beautiful monitor in the world and I won't look twice. That's all I could want. the price is good too

Pros
  • Ideally!
Cons
  • Low Brightness: If the monitor's brightness is set too low, the image may appear washed out or too dark.
