Add your review The clasps on these collars are very poorly made. When my pup pulled at least 3 of these! Once with a handler running with him!, the latch opened and we were left with the collar in our hands as our dog sped down the road. VERY DANGEROUS. At first I thought we had a broken shutter. After this happened on the third day, I realized that this was not an accident. May work on small dogs that cannot force pull, but certainly not on medium to large sized dogs. Such a shame as I really liked it but I can't risk the safety of my dog or anyone else. I will NOT use them again. They are as cute as can be. Exactly like in the photo. I have plastic latches which are much lighter than metal latches. My pup is wearing his Christmas collar and I love it! Good stuff. You look good. I hope they release more holiday designs. I wish the larger collars were less than 1 inch long. They are strong enough to hold 3/4" or maybe 1/2". to smooth down the dog's hackles if your pup always wears a collar. Especially in breeds with double or triple coats. This happens to all brands, no comment on Yellow Dog Design.
