The unit appears to work within advertised limits but it has no replaceable fuse and there was no cut off or protection should the unit become overloaded. So going to 150W or more will break the device without requiring a reboot or a fixable solution to keep it usable. So for powering a laptop or a small LED TV it works more than well as long as you know the power consumption of the devices you intend to use and don't go over the 150W limit. Otherwise you risk damaging your device. My first unit blew up and I was able to get a replacement with no problem so I have to support the product but found out the fuse advertised was actually wires soldered directly with no fuse which is why I deducted 3 stars.
