If you have money, just buy it.

It was reliable. I know there are some issues with older USB-C 10Gb/s chipsets. And it was buggy with USB C on my x570 motherboard. There were problems with memory initialization. Luckily, I also bought an ORICO USB PCI-E card, which is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 internal expansion card, and it works great with it and the USB-C to USB-C cable. I think it's overkill since the map can run much faster than the box, but I agree. I am very satisfied with the expansion box. Zero problems after I initialized it. It runs pleasantly quiet and the drives stay very cold. The control software is great for Windows 10. The best part is that I have 4 free slots for future expansion. I have no regrets paying more than the average expansion box. In terms of quality, you definitely get what you pay for here.
