To be honest I'm shocked at how bad the design of this backpack is. If there is water in it, DO NOT place it on its side or in any direction other than straight up. Water flows out and floods everything in your bag. I saw someone say this in a previous review here and assumed they must have received a defective item. Mine works exactly like this. Very disappointed.
- Removable waist belt: extra stability when you need it
- Could have opted for a newer model
