There are two almost identical models of this thermo mug. Either that or it's fake. The model I bought from Revain has an engraved Thermos logo and a color coating on the top edge that will come off in the dishwasher. The two sets I bought from Costco have the thermal label stuck on and are holding up well. Both have excellent insulating properties and both appear to be made from the same quality steel. While I might otherwise consider the peeling coating to be a minor cosmetic issue, I have found flakes of the paint coating on other dishes that have been removed from the dishwasher. I do not want to use this mug in a situation where I am meeting with a client. A peeling finish makes an uncomfortable impression, like dirty clothes or worn shoes. BEWARE.
