We have always bought Sunbeam electric blankets because they are very hot and we like a toasted one in the winter love bed. We have to replace them every year because they burn out quickly, but as long as they keep us warm in the winter we don't mind. Unfortunately we must have had bad luck this year. In the first month of use, the blanket was barely warm even at maximum temperature. Now, in February, when we need it most, the sheets freeze when we go to bed and there is no noticeable warmth from the duvet. What a disappointment.
