The real strap that holds the iPad is the best thing about this mount. It is very versatile and can accommodate a variety of different sizes. But the actual bar mount is very weak. I have an older iPad which is a bit bigger and bulkier than the newer versions and the stand mount just doesn't support the weight of the iPad. I have to tighten it so tight it feels like it's going to break under the strain! Despite being very tight, it still has trouble connecting to the mic stand. Probably best for newer, smaller, and lighter iPads and tablets. Maybe better for iPad mini? Not a bad product, just know in advance what you intend to use it for.
