Replaced the first of two cartridges with no problems. The instructions and tools provided made the task very easy. However, I didn't waste time resetting the toner level in the printer. This was annoying at first because every time I printed something, the "The printer is low on toner" warning popped up. Easy enough to ignore until my printer suddenly stopped printing. No faded print jobs, just stop printing. Chip changed to the second cartridge and started printing again. Caveats: 1) I dropped the chip so wasn't sure which ending. Didn't print the first time. Chip flipped and everything went. 2) Chip orientation is critical. 3) Reset printer warnings. 4) I got a maximum of 2000-2200 copies from the first cartridge. Some people have said their printer prints 3000 copies. I don't think you will get that much. worth $$. Buy several
