The sound itself is great but there is "cable noise "

I switched to the CX 3 when the cable from my latest Sennheiser headphones got pulled on the bus. The model I had (and really liked) was no longer made, but the next quality up was the CX 3. The sound itself is excellent, but there is "cable noise". an issue during my bus ride to work which is what i mainly use them for 4 ear adapter options offer a comfortable fit but i don't even bother with the square carry case.
