A good rig for everything from basic setups (even has a tripod mount on the bottom so you can attach it to a tripod). I've removed a few things (grip and hood) since I've had it, but I needed a little less profile for my DLSR setup. But you can easily add a more intense setup, with places to mount a monitor, microphone, C-Stick and focus tracking. Focusing is a bit fiddly, meaning you'll have to re-attach the ring to each new lens (unless you're buying several), and unless everything is fully tightened, the camera/lens can get out of reach of the lens grip. Watch out for focus transfers. Something I've encountered a few times. But still completely satisfied with it. It just means I'm careless sometimes.
