Bought this for a hike near the Catskills and rain was forecast for the second day of the trip. In this case, I specifically looked for a waterproof tent and when it rained, my tent got wet on the inside. There was a small dry spot right in the middle, but water got in at all edges. On top of that, the setup is also a bit annoying. Most tents I've pitched have hooks on the tent edges to connect to the poles, but this one requires you to thread the poles through these sleeves, which can be cumbersome and difficult for one person, especially the second pole. This tent may be suitable when the weather is very nice, but I would not recommend it for anyone expecting rain.
