A really good monitor for the price. I have two in the home office. They're great for text, programming, etc. I love the curved shape. This works especially well if you wear varifocals that require you to turn your head to focus. The curved shape seems to reduce eye fatigue compared to a similarly sized flat screen. However, black is not black. The best thing you can do for black is some washed out dark grey. It just doesn't have the deep blacks and fast response of a good gaming or TV/video monitor. For text and general use, the lack of deep blacks isn't a problem, but if you're looking for a gaming monitor, you probably need to climb a few more rungs on the price ladder to find a good one.
