I have been using these Purex crystals for years and nothing keeps my clothes fresh and smelling as long as this brand. Compared to Gain and Downy, Purex is superior. Salt crystals soften water and don't leave a weird film on my clothes like competing products. The fact that it costs 3 times what Downy and Gain makes it undeniable. I notice that the scent of fresh spring water lasts the longest. I've tried other Purex Crystal scents but they seem to be more subtle and don't last as long. If you are sensitive to strong smells I would suggest using other scents. Fresh spring water smells great on your face for 8+ weeks.
