I live in a "flameless" house where you can't light candles. I bought them in case I lose power. Haven't lost power yet but they make great night lights. So unfortunately it needs to be updated. I just blew a fuse in my living room and I felt safe because it was getting dark and I had these headlights. None plugged into the outlet apparently produced NO power. No light. So we don't really believe in blackouts as advertised. It's pitch black in my living room. The lights are beautiful. They work like a night light. The older one I had about 6 years old is flashing now so it definitely has an expiration date but isn't that reliable.
