Very attractive and strong enough. They look a lot better than the worn wooden handles they replaced and they won't wear out like wood. If you have young children who love to unscrew and hide things, simply apply a small dab of REMOVABLE thread sealer (or even nail polish) to the threads before tightening. No threading issues. The threads run almost all the way to the front, so screws of different lengths can be used with ease. Do not over tighten on hollow doors! Comes with a 1" long #8-32 fastener (common US thread size). I needed longer screws for the double doors they attach to, I found them easily at my local Ace store. Hardware I'm sure Lowe's or Home Depot also sell them.
