Perfect for emergencies

I bought this for my jump bag a while back and haven't used it. Hurricane Laura gave me time to use it. The first morning I forgot I had it in my bag and just used Brian's emergency pills. The second morning I use it. I could boil a large pot of water, brew coffee, and make enough coffee for four people. This thing is very solid when placed on a hard surface, but I actually stuck the legs into the ground. The ground was soft enough that they just got stuck in place and it was very hard. I bought gas from a local store, it's the cheapest place around. I was able to boil a pot of water and just missed the camp fuel. It's not as loud as some of the others I have, but you know it's on. it's not exactly windproof, so I took a box, wrapped it in aluminum foil, and placed it around the stove. It works like an absolute champ! I'm very glad I got it but I just wish I'd remembered I had it the first morning. I actually managed to heat up one of my MREs because I hate using those stupid self-heating packs.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
