I bought a van and an optional rear view camera from the dealer. It was an expensive option and from the first day of use I saw that the quality sucks. Very choppy and uneven on a 38ft trailer. I bought this and got two cameras and a bigger screen for half the price. The quality is very good, without jerking. I put a second camera in front of the van door. Another cool thing is that they give you a wire to hardwire it to your monitor. This is great because I can use it in my truck and then transport it to an RV as the home security is powered from a fixed wire in my 12v circuit.
