They install very easily using a 3/16" bit to drill the pilot hole and then a 3/8" bit for the final hole. I tapped the clamps with a small hammer and then used a block of wood to put the wheels in the clamps. However, the wheels did not turn as easily as I would have hoped with vinyl floors. Probably worse on hard floors. The wheels spin, but instead of spinning straight in the direction you're going, they stick out to the side. But they work and are cheap. Maybe I'm expecting too much from them. I might put some 3 in 1 oil on them and see if that helps.
