🪑 Sydien 4 Pack Furniture – Maximized Weight Capacity Review

At first I was thrilled, these furniture castors are noble, so many plastic castors. I used them on an antique dresser. The wheels aren't straight down from the center of the bar that goes into the hole in the leg. As a result, the wheels were laterally offset and not centered. As a result, the wheels didn't work and the dresser sat on the metal on the floor. I thought it would be stronger but it isn't.

We have antique bedside tables that are very difficult to move across the bedroom carpet. Many years ago there were holes in the legs of previous roller skates. The "movement problem" of the bedside table was solved with Sydien 1 "casters. Very easy to install. I removed the old inserts, put in the new inserts and glued on the new casters. They install very easily using a 3/16" bit to drill the pilot hole and then a 3/8" bit for the final hole. I tapped the clamps with a small hammer and then used a block of wood to put the wheels in the clamps. However, the wheels did not turn as easily as I would have hoped with vinyl floors. This really has nothing to write about honesty. Came in a ziplock bag. No instructions; However, if you're even a little "smart", you should be able to figure it out. They are beautiful and durable as they can withstand a load much higher than their weight class. But they roll for a hell of a price on carpet, and they don't fare much better on hardwood floors. Being metal, they can and likely will indent your wood floors if the item you are attaching them to is of significant weight. Be warned.
