I ordered these castors for an old heavy chest of drawers that I use as a carrying frame. This part is huge and weighs over 100 pounds so giving it a bit of mobility is important (should have been done a long time ago). Overall I give this product 4 out of 5 stars. Would get 5 stars if seller included some specs and instructions (they could even put it on the sales page to not include extra paper). So let me explain what I've learned after several trips to Home Depot. You will need the following: 1) a 3/8 bit, 2) a rubber mallet, 3) a mallet (if the wood is very hard), 4) a drill, 5) a pencil, 6) masking tape. I recommend that you use a pencil to mark the spot (centre) where you want to drill (this is especially important if you have a narrow foot that you drill into [like me]). Before drilling, mark the length of the drill shaft with tape (to make sure you don't drill too deep). After marking the location and breakpoint with tape, drill holes. When you're done, insert the pods - you'll need a hammer to fully insert them. Personally, I started with a hammer, but it wasn't strong enough to drive the socket teeth into the wood, so I had to finish with a hammer (just be careful not to deform the socket hole). After all the bushings are in place, insert the rods, then use a rubber mallet to drive them all the way in (you will hear a click). Note: Whenever possible, use a hammer on the base of the stem, not the wheel. When I was done flipping the part over, I noticed a creaking sound. Since I don't plan on moving it often it doesn't really matter to me, but you can add some WD-40. I also recommend that if you have old holes in your legs that you want to fill them in before drilling so your drill doesn't drift (something I also learned the hard way). Much luck!
