They work very well, they support the speaker really well, you can tighten the clamp just enough to hold the speaker in place. I installed 4 of these and after the first one I figured out the easiest way to attach the speakers to it. I have larger speakers that I mounted vertically. Attach the wall bracket, attach the ball to the speaker, and then mount the speaker sideways and tighten the receiver almost all the way until it holds the speaker, then GENTLELY rotate it into place. This gave me easier access to the screw to tighten most of the way. Just make sure you twist as you do so to tighten the ball joint on the speaker and this will work great. I definitely recommend them and will use them again.
