My wife wanted to make it easier for the kids to make pancakes (which they love). I thought why don't we just make them in the electric skillet we have? However, I have to say that once you've used it, it's easier to make in a pancake maker than in an electric skillet (see the attached video to see how easy it is and how kids love it). I would buy one as a gift or buy another one if needed Pros: Heats up quickly Easy to clean Easy to store (you can put things on it - see photo) Not bad to store.
