A little buyer attention for a good build

I have read good and bad reviews and CH O'Brien's review as a carpenter was correct. I am mechanic and also able. I realized that after reading this, most of you can just order them from a real fur store. Hold and avoid this explanation as follows, but for those like me who like to save some money and don't mind putting in a little work for a BETTER result than some of you have experienced, you can't go wrong with its value , IMO I put two together and followed Obriens' advice, which turned out to be correct. Each chair was well packaged and so fresh the woodwork was still strong (the smell) but not so bad you cleaned the room. I first lubricated the pivot bearings (with drops of heavy oil - see photo) as one of them didn't fit completely into the frame, but not so much as to damage this assembly. They were very stiff as they are a press fit assembly (not as close to a tolerance part as a wheel bearing) and the extra lubrication helped them a lot. Then I removed all the screws (one at a time and replaced them) with a few drops of Gorilla Glue on them as a fixative. You can also use slow-drying ethyl cyanoacrylate (crazy types of glue) if you want, but you have to move much faster, which causes errors, which I think is a bad result. screws. If you are cutting holes in the seat cushion, rotate the cushion about 1 inch, re-tighten the screws in the new location, and add glue. (The pair has been removed from the factory, but the problem is solved)! This is the key to a good result. By now tightening the screws and letting the chairs sit for 24 hours, allow Locktite to dry before use to improve the seat assembly. With prolonged use, IMO. After checking with my finger in each hole that all the mounting screws would turn freely in the metal inserts, I started assembling the legs and rings, but left them very loose until the seat was installed. Place the seat back on the seat cushion (because it will be resting on a table or other stool), use Loctite on the threads and tighten. Leave the seat cushion/backrest inverted and assemble the leg/bearing assembly. onto the underside of the seat and tighten the four fastening screws here as well. (Legs are still free). Now turn the entire chair assembly over. Place on a level table/countertop and apply two drops of Locktite to the machine screw threads of each leg, one at a time (where the threads start), leaving one thread exposed. Now tighten each screw and move on to the next. After everything is firmly in place, repeat firmly and repeat again. This prevents the feet from swaying unbalanced on the floor afterwards. I know it sounds like a headache, but the physical application is really simple. good luck with yours RH-Tx.
