Much better amplification with each speaker thanks to the dual amplification system - class AB for the tweeter, class D for the woofer. but in a bad move they removed the USB-B connector from the previous generation. You can no longer use it as a PC/Laptop DAC. They've also ditched the unbalanced analog RCA L/R inputs in favor of a cheaper consumer 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input, instead they *should* give us balanced XLR inputs. They've added an ARC HDMI input for TV lovers, but it's hardly TV speakers. It was a bad move by KEF! For the price, it should have both HDMI and USB inputs. Instead they have chosen to push the very old S/PDIF connection from the 1980s, which is very outdated. Obviously, they're aimed at TV users (why?) and users streaming audio from their phone (why?). Neither do I, so I'm skipping it despite an internal rework and better reinforcement.
