After reading all the other reviews I decided to take a chance and buy this heater. There were so many things I liked about it: the size, the design, the ease of use, the precise temperature. When it died a month after using it, I was very sad, but the excellent support team was quick to respond and offered a replacement or replacement. Return is no problem at all. The thermostat temp was high preventing the heater from turning on and dropping the water temp to ambient for several days before I noticed. I live in a temperate climate so my betta has done great but if you live in a colder climate and this is going to be critical keep this in mind.
