Review on Replacement KEM 450AAA CECH 2001A CECH 2001B CECH 2101A by Gopal Baltimore

This item worked great and had good instructions. Bottom line, my drive spindle was broken, but not the logic board attached to it, which is what usually happens with PS3 and other gaming systems. So it was easy to remove a defective hard drive, replace the circuit boards and install. The drive I bought here did come with the board attached, but it needs to be flashed with a system security key in order for it to work, and apparently that's a tricky operation (compared to replacing it, at least). I end up with a spare board to keep in case of a mishap like this. I was just searching YouTube for a video on how to open a PS3 and insert a disc. I've done this a few times on other systems and it's really great because there are a lot of videos on how to fix game consoles. As far as I know it has not been renovated.
