I am not a cleaning fantastic by any means and investing in a good mop has never been a priority for me. I did not want to spend a lot on something like that, so I always opted for the cheapest. The mop itself I shake outside to get anything that may have stuck to it.This mop with the 18" size is more ideal for the home. SWOPT also offers a 24" which is really too big unless you are working in a school and sweeping the hallways.
