My family started making rosaries to donate to the hospital. I am ordering this starter kit as early as October in case we need it for making the rosary. Of course we needed tools when we made the rosary. We used a wooden awl, a jumper ring opener, a jumper ring, and wire cutters. The Holzahle was intended for cleaning out the holes in the beads as the beads sometimes got stuck. The jumper ring and jumper ring opener were intended for the center section when the holes were too small for the cable to pass through. The wire cutters were for beads as some of the acrylic beads have sharp edges.
