I used Ooma Office as my home office bridge when I moved my office. I've been using it for about 6 months and I liked some of the features but the call quality was questionable. It was difficult to understand the conversation at times, but I don't know how much it had to do with my analog cordless phone and the quality of the connection at the other end. When another call came in while I was on the phone, a loud beep along with distorted audio interrupted the ongoing conversation. A lot has happened. Interestingly, does the incoming call notification work better if you have an IP phone and not an analog one? I bought an IP phone from Ebay that Ooma listed as compatible. When it didn't work with the system, Ooma support said the phone needed a firmware update, which they don't offer. They offer the same phone with matching firmware from their store. Another example of denial of customer support. My biggest disappointment was that I refused the service. I have a long history of reselling my device and how I was pushed into it (they want you to find another buyer for them). Rather than discontinuing the service immediately, I was told it would continue for 30 days and then discontinue. It was just a lie When I was still receiving payments on my credit card after 30 days, I called to find out why this was happening and was told I hadn't actually canceled. I kept hearing the same thing about selling my device and that they wouldn't give me a refund as I misunderstood that I didn't cancel the first time. Oh my God! So much unnecessary smoke and mirrors to make a few extra bucks just to piss off happy customers! I have been using Ooma home for over 9 years. They used to be better!
